We are pleased to announce that we have commissioned & synchronised our 1 MW Solar Power Plant, at Vengalayapalem, Perecherla village, Guntur, AP with the 11 KV Substation at Nallapadu. The committee appointed by IREDA consisting of senior officials from NREDCAP and APSPDCL supervised the commissioning. Chairman Mr.Bala Kutti - BVK group of companies, which funded the project mentioned that this is the First of its kind Solar plant in the Guntur region which was completed in a record time of three and half months. This was possible with the support of APSPDCL the local people for ensuring the 4.1 Km power evacuation line was completed on time to ensure grid connectivity and placed on record his appreciation of the efforts of the entire team which worked hard to complete the project within the deadline target of 15th March 2012 under the RPSSGP scheme of JNNSM. Mr.Balraj, Director of KEIPL confirmed that the plant had exported around 1212 units on the first day between 1.45 p.m to 6 p.m. Mr.A.Raja Sukumar Director & CEO thanked the EPC contractors IVRCL & XL energy and all the subcontractors who made the project a reality. Director Mr. Venkat Reddy mentioned that the area will become BVK Solar city in the future as the Power generated from the plant will benefit the local people largely.
