Felix Freudenberg, the New Sales Director for North America, DEGERenergie Promotes Business in North America



DEGERenergie is reinforcing its activities in North America. In effect immediately, Felix Freudenberg is responsible for sales as the new North American Sales Director. With more than 47,000 systems installed worldwide, in 46 countries, DEGERenergie is the global market leader for solar tracking systems. The company maintains its own production facility and sales office in Phoenix, Arizona.Felix Freudenberg (38) successfully graduated in business in Mannheim, before working as a marketing director for a German company in Newport Beach, Calif. He has been living and working in Arizona since 2003. He studied at the renowned Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, completing his studies with an MBA in Global Management.

Over the past three years, Felix Freudenberg was active in the U.S. solar industry as a system integrator and installation partner with his company South West Solar Solutions, which was a Sunpower Premier dealer. Apart from his knowledge of business and management, the new sales director will bring his experience in setting up a dealership network and integrating solar power plants in the U.S. market.“Our task will be, above all, to tackle the huge U.S. market in a selective and focused manner,“ says Felix Freudenberg. “We will precisely identify potential customers and target groups and adapt our product range to customer demands in North America. In addition, we aim to find installation partners and help them enter the solar tracking sector. It is our objective to repeat the success of DEGERenergie in Ontario, Canada, in all the states of the U.S., in which the basic energy policy conditions allow for this to happen.”
