AU Optronics Corp. recently announced its preliminary consolidated February 2012 revenue of NT$27,955 million, up by 28.8% from the previous month and 3.2% from the same period last year.For February 2012, large-sized panel (a) shipments, with applications on desktop monitor, notebook PC, LCD TV and other applications, increased by 30% month-over-month to over 9.5 million units. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments were around 13.12million units, up by 27.1% month-over-month.
(a) Large size refers to panels that are 10 inches and above in diagonal measurement while small and medium size refers to those below 10 inches.
